I am definitely not a Hasbro promoter either, and can understand some of the frustration folks have, but simply cannot and will not condone the type of attitude and language some of the "fans" used against them when this failed.
One can critique and point out where things were missed. Still, at the end of the day, I don't know how fans who use this type of language and stance can ever get Hasbro to consider their views. I almost think some of them think, well if I flame better they will sure do it my way next time. I hate to even be remotely associated with those types of folks.
There were definitely some design, pr, and cost issues with this release. I kinda hope they go back and revisit that weird face articulation thing, but appreciate the fact that we had a new huge item we could decide on.
