After wanting a TVC Rex with removable helm for the last few years...I can't even order him in the U.S. The ebay scalpers are in full force already. I've seen a pack go as high as $580.00 USD.

This was only available in Canada (so far). I'm waiting to get this set. I check Hasbro Plus every single day.

I hate that Scalpers do what they do. Everyone deserves access to buy it at retail price. Not super exorbitant sky high eBay markup.

I really only want three of these figures. In order of want; Rex, Gray, and Ballast.

Well, sorry that I contradict, but all fan sites linked affiliates to Amazon USA, and that's where all pre-orders sold out within 11 minutes. It's sold with a MRSP of $62.99 USD on Amazon.com.
Today, after following this thread I checked Amazon.ca for the first time and it's actually (still?) up for pre-order there! So I guess if you want to save some bucks, you can also buy it there for $79.99 CAD.

Oh, that's pretty unfortunate. Neither do they ship to Germany. Well, it's an exclusive set to North America then, but they strictly keep the contingents to the assigned country I guess.

I'm sure there're more units on the way for the United States. Fingers crossed.

I have a feeling we will see more of these closer to the release date. Or its just one more exclusive I don't get. I don't get too worked up over it anymore.

And with most exclusives being only sold in the US I don't begrude our northern buds one bit. I still have a feeling that if these don't move on Canada's site then they will move em to the US.

Wow, and this dude is keen enough to include this screenshot in his desciption on ebay? Must be a bald guy. It was another scalpers' fest! They probably do it with bots. That's a game I'm not playing. I wouldn't support these flippers.

I don't even know if there was a limit when pre-orders went live. I can still buy 30 AT-STs here on Amazon.de in just one transaction and even pay in rates. It even qualifies for free shipping, but I don't have the money.
Scalpers' argument often is, that it's a free market with supply-and-demand mechanism. So Hasbro just has to saturate the market that it won't be attractive to these people anymore.
Then Hasbro's customers would be happy, Jeff is happy and Hasbro won't leave the money on the table. Sounds so simple, right? Cheers.
