As far as I know Andor was planned from scratch to be a show of 2 seasons.
Mando already got 3 ^^ besides they cannot let Andor continue forever because "Rogue One" happens soon in the plot!

Well, the last 2 episodes were definitely HO HUM.
At least we were entertained with the battle of the revolt
against the empire by the citizens.
The imperials proved once again that they are brainless when
they need to organize a strategy to track, communicate and execute
their plan to capture a single individual.
Let's hope that season 2 gives us the material we crave.
STARWARS as it is meant to be. Not this hollywood version of crap and slough.
On a positive note. At least now we know what the convicts were manufacturing.

I still haven't found time to watch it yet after using up Thanksgiving week watching the new Black Panther and Black Adam. I actually enjoyed Black Adam a bit more, but think I am in the minority. I just like the Rock.

Given the lack of responses for the past few weeks I can't help but wonder if a lot of other
folks are also disenchanted with the Andor series.

Well, nothing related to Star Wars has made me fall asleep before. Andor did and I think that says it all.
I mean the Sequels have put me on fire in raw wrath, anger and rage. That wasn't good for me either.

Andor is well made, but the content is rather meager and stretched to 12 episodes. I'll re-watch them all during the Holidays and come back with my overall opinion. The last 2 episodes are supposed to be good!
I liked the beginning of the show even though I think the brothel part wasn't necessary.

The actors play it well and the director managed it well to show the dismal time of the Empire.
But the dull tone of the show is a big part of the reason why it doesn't appeal to the general audience from what I've heard. To me it's hard to watch because nothing really happens. The story progresses in slow motion. All Quiet on the Western Front is hard to watch because it shows the senselessness and raw brutality of war in general.

I always wondered where the Empire got all the resources from. And I like how Andor shows that as I'm from a coal mining region as well. The crashed ship with the (fake?) Separatist crew is one of my favorite elements. It shows that the Republic acts with some double-standards as well and that the Galactic Senate was only a paralyzed institution literally tired of war at the end.

Yeah, maybe I will have time to catch up on it at Christmas and give another take.

I will already say that out of all the new shows this is the one I would be fine with them not renewing. BOBF and the Mandalorian they had better keep going.

The costumes of ANDOR impress me as well. If you're amazed by how the Galaxy of STAR WARS is dressed as much as I am, you should check out this article on STAR WARS dot com:

This show is weird. Part of me really likes the cloak and dagger stuff but I feel the pacing is off. I'm not sure why. Definitely love the clone flashbacks!  ()rr

If Andor brought any good to the franchise it's the fact that the Phase II Clone Trooper is no longer just a CGI object. His appearance in the show was enough to even give Hasbro the chance of making an all-new tooling for the character that lit the Star Wars fever in my 12-year-old brain. Don't know if KENOBI was filmed after ANDOR, but actual armors were used on screen for both shows.

Watch Adam Savage from TESTED and Alea Holland from Ace Cosplay review the advanced version of the Clone Trooper in Phase II armor!

"The recent Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor shows were the first time in Star Wars that Clone Troopers were depicted in live action! The team at FBFX were responsible for the creation of the armor and costume worn on set, and Adam learns from FBFX workshop fabricator Alea Holland (and Imperial Stormtrooper cosplayer!) about how FBFX built the armor using Lucasfilm digital reference and the challenges of making it a practical costume!"

Based on what I read from many sources today it looks like season 2 isn't going to be released until 2025.
