Holy smokes! Over 9k with shipping, that's a stack of money. The statue looks movie accurate of course, but I'm bolt enough to say that I'd rather make my own 3PO and it would look very similar with the materials I have. I wouldn't buy it even though it looks phenomenal. Even if I had 10k lying around, I'd always find something better to buy for that money.
On the other hand, I'm always most impressed by collectors who own one or more life-size statues. A friend of mine had a Death Trooper from Sideshow. He won it on an auction for 1,800€ when a store similar to Walmart went out of business.
