BlackThorne props
« on: January 28, 2024, 08:36:39 PM »
I dont usually have opportunities to work on 1:1 stuff, there is almost no acess to kits here and importing anything to Brazil is no easy task. However, I managed to get a watergun based on the original PKD blaster and made this repaint.

It's not 100% perfect but its close enough to the real thing for my eyes.

Thanks! I had a blast working on it and put a ton of effort onto her. I only had one chance to make it shine o/

Last year I bought some of my firsts full metal sabers, but had no ideal way the display them in a cool way. A few days ago I put together this small rack using some leftovers metal pieces I had lying arround, painted the thing to better fit the star wars universe and for now this is will be my Katarn's display:

That looks really good. The design seems totally appropriate for the saber hilts.

Hey, that replica looks fantastic you really managed it well to make the components look like real metal. The result looks super realistic, well done!

Love your Katarn's display! It screams STAR WARS to me! Also your lightsabers look brilliant! Much more accurate than all electronic Force FX lightsabers by Hasbro with much thicker hilts...another great project!
