I am happy to show my newest custom today. I am very excited to post this, as I only have told a select few. I haven't posted anything in my thread about this custom, this is the first you all will see this.

Introducing Corran Horn's X-wing

I'm just waiting for the paint I ordered so I can do the figures. Apart from that and some very minor touch-ups this is the completed X-wing. I may redo this at some point as the wings don't stay open.

wow Dave
the green paintwork looks fantastic on the X-Wing. The mix of green, black and light grey is very harmonious
definitely your best AF X-Wing custom so far
I can't wait to see the figures

great job

Thanks for the kind replies guys. I just really wish the wings would stay open. I must have messed something up when I tried to take it apart. Oh well. The good thing about redoing it is I can reuse the engines and laser cannons, so that will save me some time when I redo it. Also, I managed to repaint an extra figure I had to make him Corran Horn. I still need an extra R2 Unit for Whistler. Please keep in mind these figures are very hard to paint. With the naked eye, these figures look pretty decent. With my camera it picks up the hard to reach areas.

Corran Horn

And while I'm at it, I finally got around to painting my extra E-wing pilot, who is supposed to be Horton Salm for my custom Gray Leader Y-wing.
