I clicked on the "new posts" icon for this thread then had to go help a daughter.  When I came back towards the computer, I saw the fig and said, "Wow, that'd make a great head for a Jules fig!"  Then I got to where I could read the words and it *was* a Jules fig!!  That's just great!  Bravo!

Oh, and where'd the head come from??  And the toolbelt is flat-out inspired!  Where'd that one come from??  (I'm betting you *made* that one...)

12" Stormtrooper....(I've never had a large figure like that)

Thanks guys I too love this one. Jules has been giving so much to this site and the people here I wanted to do something for him. Not to mention I asked for a few Sirious Black figures to pay for a commission I did a few months ago. When i was watching some of Jules videos I thought man that head with the beard sanded off would look just like Jules. To me he is a creative genius so I had the idea to make an Imperial engineer/designer/mechanic/mad scientist/guy who can fix of build anything mechanicaly related. He features several technological advancements that he created such as the x ray head gear, info storage and technological read out on his belt and several other thing we can't grasp as he is just too advanced. The tool belt is custom made from pleather and was fist made removable but looked like crap on the figure as the tiny pieces of velcro were to thick or puffy making it stick out in the front. So I ended up superglueing the strap to the front pocket area. Then I used glue on a toothpick to seperate the pouch into 4 pockets to hold his tools. Glad everyone enjoyed this one it was a lot of fun and I can't wait to see him in the Hangerbay. If anyone is wondering about the parts used here is a WIP pic...

you could make the belt just slightly smaller than it needs to be, then stretch it over the figure to get it on there, thus making it semi-removable...

pleather is an interesting medium... I've used it once, but not for a custom... been meaning to though.

My 2 sons and I are big fans of the movie Space Balls. I had thought about making the main characters from the movie and my 6 yr old has been pushing me to do it so I jumped in. I started with Lone Star as he is the easiest to make, he comes complete with Shwartz ring and removable blade.

Hahaha, awesome! I love that I can see Indiana Jones legs and Jango Fett arms on Lonestar, those figures are great! I hope you keep making more of these, I want to see them all!
