Thanks guys, Glad everyone likes her so far. I still have a few things left to do. First on that list is the windows I need to make then detailing the interior.

Julian, yes, it does resemble the Twilight. The day I pulled it out of the box Jaxon said the same thing. when I am done I will get some outside shots from several angles.

LE, please get some shots to me as I'd love to give it a cameo role, or even use it as a pirate's star-fighter.

This one even looks to me like it would make a great modified B-Wing too.

Nice ship. Reminds me of the one used in the CWs movie.

Sweet!  Very imaginative use of parts, Sprywalker!  This is the type of work that gets the creative juices flowing; I'm inspired to try and cobble something together myself now.  Goodbye, spare time!   :P

Light side, dark side...meh.  Just give me a lightsaber and a blaster and I'll take care of it!

Not that I am at all known for throwing down gauntlets!  I happened to see this on ebay:

And couldn't help but wondering what you might could do with it!  Its lines were quite evocative of your cargo-crawler.

Man, no update here since January?!  :-[ Sorry guys I have been buisy herre at the yards and with other custom projects. The contest here take a lot of my time and today I want to update with a mini rig I made for our current contest. We only allow 5 pictures in the mini rig thread, and I have about 30, so I picked the best ones and will post them here.

Presenting the Rebel's newest creation in short range vehicles, the Recon Scout Skiff or RSS. It features an elaborate array of sonar and scanning equipment, an astromech to pilot the ship, convey information and can operate the guns. The guns can also be manned by personnel on the skiff if desired. The RSS has become heavily used for scouting operations in locations requiring a vehicle that can fit in tight places and stay undetected. The modular nature of the craft when in landing position allows it to be fully armed if it's personnel take off on foot.

Great for single person transportation and scouting, Julian these next shots are in honor of Ace Azzameen and all your hard work.

but can accomidate 2 people when needed.

Landing mode with defence systems

This little thing took several forms over the last few weeks. It is a Hellicopter Transformer and I had a small mobile platform in mind when it began. The back piece stayed flat with the deck and hinged down. As it is now I dremeled and filed then sanded a lot away to get it up that high. I had also added some side panels that folded down, a part to another broken transformer on top of the front area to hide the passengers. Long story short it looked hideous. I pulled everything off, started thinking about the Rebels building Uglies with a permanent droid in the nose. So I took out my BAD parts and split open a can to get the part that receives the head. Decided it would fit on top, marked it out and dremeled away for about 40 minutes being very careful and checking the size often. The funny thing is I removed more than I added to the original piece to get here. The on the transforming part I had to dremel and sand a ton more to get the guns to fold forward for the deadly look. As a final touch I added a display panel and a few buttons for the personnel on the skiff and she was off to paint. The droid was a re purposed one that had it's memory wiped and re programed for it's new duties. In a rush they attempted a quick repaint of it's dome to help camouflage the yellow underneath.

:thumbs-up:

Very neat little rig!  I like the action feature of being able to change modes without looking like a hijacked transformer.

I like this one a lot too L.E. I probably gotta say your Mando with custom speeder is my favorite, but this is right there too. It is just a great construction. I wish I had your skills.

Thanks Doc and I tried my best to keep it from looking like a transformer. There is a bigger part underneath that folds forward and I tried that look for landing gear but it just didn't work. Then I thought what if the sides folded down and it could stand up like the seperatist driod ships .That worked but the guns would not fold down so I dremeled away until they did.

Thamer glad you like it buddy. I agree the Bounty Hunter Norriss Tretch and his swoop is my fave custom as well.

Thanks Art and Damien. Now for something some may not like so much...Ewok transportation. I see it as a companion to the vintage Battle Wagon.
