Thanks again guys! It is great to see no one here hates Ewoks! This was a lot of fun and I have several more Ewoks half customized waiting for me to complete them. Jules thanks so much, that is one heck of a compliment.
can't wait to see them !

Thanks guys for the great comments! Now as for new things, this is the type of crap I try to do while the wife cooks dinner.

Everything in this photo I bought at a thrift store at various times over the last year. Grand total $3 plus tax for all of it, I leave the price sticker on till I use them. We have one nerf chain gun, missing all the pieces that you can remove and the chain, but works/rotates the drum. Then the computer disk storage case = the bridge and I have a piece on the back  from a sigma six vehicle. Not even sure I will make this but it looks interesting in less than 10 minutes time.

Luuuke, Luu-uuke, where are you. Hu, hum, I'm in the office, kinda busy right now. We will be ready to eat in 15 minutes. OK Aunt Ber...I mean honey.

So I had some time to play around with ideas for an Ugly like the Rebels built from scrap vehicles. I pulled out a Joe jet as I had been eyeing it earlier in the week and cut the nose off. I taped on a R5 astromech and grabbed a few pieces that look good to hold it in place. Below are the results...

Many more parts will be cobbled onto this thing as this is just a mock up to generate more ideas. Now this is where I could use some help. I will be needing several of the items in the picture below for several upcoming projects. If anyone can help out That would be amazing. I would love to do some trading for these parts.

Wow, you made your own capital ship! For 3 bucks! Daggone, I hope you get that all sorted and painted!

I love the astromech nose for the other ship too.

I am going to the fp with this as an inspiration source for the Trash to Treasure Contest.

Hey Spry! The mock ups for the Z'Ceptor look awesome! As soon as the Interceptor arrives I'll be sending out my pieces (and your payment ships too) and hopefully we can get the ball rolling on this ship! I gasped when I saw the mock up. Loved it!

The computer disk storage case might make a good center point to a smaller ship too--maybe a shuttle of some sort.   Cool stuff.

First, we take the biggest gun we can find, then we strap engines and a cockpit to it...  voila!  The Rebels built an A-10!!!  Hysterical, my friend - truly hysterical.

And I can hear the R4's screams from here...  hehehehehehehehehehehehe  I dub that vehicle... the "Violator"!!

I have some of the Gungan staffs, but as *I* need more than I have, I was considering trying to mold and copy them at some point, along with the fuel-rod stack.  I'll see what I can do.  (good call on using the e-web tripod legs as landing gear - I have a set put aside for using on an old Joe Skyhawk VTOL)

Thanks everyone, I have not plated around with any of these. The gun was really a hmm, could I pull this off? Glad you got a kick out of it Doc! I hoped someone would. The Ugly will sit until have more fodder. There is a vehicle I have been working on over the last few months really deciding what to do with it leaving bits taped on here and there. This weekend I was starting a clean up effort on my desk/surrounding area and found several great bits to finish the inside of the vehicle. I just took a few photos in horrible lighting and hope to have them up some time tomorrow.

My son turned his Sky Hawks "Condor" vehicle over to me about 8 months ago. I had a few ideas for it as Hangarbay 94 has done an awesome custom with one. I knew I wanted to take this thing apart and modify it in some way. It has a firing mechanism in the center of the hull wasting a lot of useable space as long as I can come up with an access door. I also don't like the cockpit set up and want to renovate it and greeblie it out. I am going to work on the interior first while it is in half.

In these pics I have removed the existing seat and made a new one from tha Avatar Jake Sully wheelchair. The steering vein is from the original clone pilot floor mount gun and I strengthened it up with a press button center piece. After that was worked out I started with the greeblies. You can also see I used a small container to make the secret compartment into the hull. It has a snap on lid and I plan to put a gun placement on top of it.

End of day one.

In a word...AWESOME!

This I am really looking forward to as this vehicle makes such a cool ship. I know Master Sprywalker will do a superb job, I just can't wait to see how it's painted.

Excellent job so far!
