Hey, L.E.
I apologize for not leaving a comment sooner than this, but this is AWESOME!

This one looks like it could have been in the background of Echo Base somewhere. Great work and love the paint scheme you did.

The weathering is spot on and now I want to go out and find one of these and do exactly the same thing. Awesome work.

Thanks guys and Liltofett, funny you posted the old pics as I have been thinking about selling that tank. It was a fun project and my son and I have played with it many times in the past but I am running out of room and could use the money. So it may end up in my sale thread.

Hey triple S, ha ha it's cool man, no worries, and thanks for the facial mask tip. I think it came out OK for my first try but want to improve on the shape of the wear. Only a few spots are circular and I want more of a ripped look. What do you apply the mask with? I used a Q-Tip and a sculpting tool to get a jagged look.

So yesterday I finished up the interior. All I had to do was paint the few details molded on the ship then add a few of my own. After it was painted and sealed with Flat clear I added a few small jewels to simulate lights.

Sadly I didn't go all out on this part as you can't see these details very well when you put it back together. Unless you try real hard...

So then I decided I would take a few comparison shots of what I started with.

So now that I am done with Tamers Concept Snowspeeder it is time for a long break, ha yea right, what do you think this is a government agency? I'll be hammering away on AFE's Z'cepter and have more progress shots on that before too long. Not to mention I am always working on things for SW Apocalypse. I know I have not been giving you any WIP images of what I make for that verse so today I am going to drop a little teaser on you and just say that this one will be pretty big.

Anyone want to play name that part?

Wow Spry, that interior looks great to me too. Those shots of the stock and yours just shows how over the top this custom. Hands down the best custom snowspeeder I have ever seen.

An absolutely wonderful mini rig creation! There is so much going on, it's just wonderful to study in detail.

Looks great, actually it inspired to go out and buy one of these concept snowspeeders. Do you have any suggestions on how to take out the front dark gray guns only? I took out the screws from the bottom but it seems as if the gun barrel piece holding the bottom and top together is glued on.

Yes, you are correct, it is glued together. I first cut with a box cutter then pried it open with a flat screw driver. It was a bit of a bear but keep pulling the 2 pieces apart and it will pop open. When I was done I did screw and glue it back together.

Here are a few progress shots of the Z'cepter project. Incase you forgot I am trying to get close to this...

The second wing has been modified and is held in plce with one round magnet and a peg to keep the wing from saging too much.
