Thanks friends, this vehicle has been a challenge. Any time you are trying to replicate an existing design and details on the vehicle consist of parts that don't exist it won't be easy. I have spent a lot of time on the dremel with this one. It doesn't show yet but spent another ton of time just looking through fodder bins for parts and taking things apart to see if it could work for landing gear and other things. I wanted them to fold up closer to the vehicle but unless it was totally scratch built from styrene this was as close as I could get. I used the legs from a Blackout Transformer and cut them down so they could fold into the ridge on the wing. I have been mocking up parts to use for the "naked" R2 unit built into the nose, not satisfied yet so once again I will have to look for something better.

Your dedication and attention to details sets a precedent I think we all try to emulate. I've started using more non-star wars pieces as the Star Wars U doesn't always provide what I need for certain figures. Let me know if there's anything I can send your way that might work :)

Mungo, yes it is. The Astromech is permanently added to the nose.

I was so delighted last night when a few members of Rogue Squadron stooped by to offer me a Birthday toast! I alluded to the Ugly I had been piecing together and they demanded to see it. While they were in front of her I snapped this group photo.






There are 2 customs in this shot I never photographed and presented before. Can anyone guess what they are?
