Spry, I just caught a glimpse of the last image of the clone sitting in the cannon wit the tower behind, that's really my kind of custom. I hope you do something with that as it will look fantastic.

I want one.  Did you post a build tutorial or recipe?  That is too cool.

And OH LORD!!!  That finished crawler seriously ROCKS!!!  And I love the med-bay unit you built for it.

Thanks Doc, I was thinking about you and wondering where you went when I was finishing that up. We seem to be into similar things/designs.  The transport was made out of an old casette holder drawer. I thought wip pics were here as well but I now there are some in my "Thrift store finds" thread. If you don't fin them let me know and I'll PM you a few.

HA!!  After I posted that and while I was out doing my safety walk-thrus, I was turning the vehicle over mentally and came to the conclusion I could prolly replicated it using at least the front of a cassette drawer!  I'll dig around and find the info on it - I've got a LOOOOOOOOT of catch-up to do!

Man, it has been a while since I worked on a vehicle. I picked up a few Corps vehicles for $4 ea and wanted to do something for our Joes. This is what I came up with along with a figure that is an outlaw type cat. I decided to rough it up a bit and weather it pretty hard. Going for a Georgia red clay soil type with the mudd on the tires and vehicle. I like the idea of it being able to hold a bit of cargo or extra people in the back but I may still add a gun mount back there at some point.

L.E., that weathering is absolutely phenomenal!  It looks professional quality, like it was massed produced that way!  So cool, my friend.

Thanks guys. I also have a pick of the dash before I installed it. I was going for a heavily weathered pealing pleather look.

Also the weathering, well the mudd, was achieved with an edible product. Any one care to guess what I used for that red Georgia clay to make it look gritty?
