I actually have one of these going too.  When I saw the one Jules did I couldn't resist.  I have the gun on top, as well, but I changed up the back a bit and hid the opening down the center differently.  I really like what you did.  I haven't started the paint yet.  I only finished the build.

Here's what I have so far.  I definitely will need some vehicle painting tips.  I will be digging through some tutorials I think.  I didn't even think to prime it :-[  I love how you did your controls in the cockpit.

Good grief I am loving that! The funny thing is I have every part you have used and wish I had come up with the sky bike wing to hide that freakin handle! The other set of wings crossed to cover the top is a simple fix and stroke of genius at the same time. The look of your combined parts is quite menacing as well as awesome! Have you done some painting since these photos? The base coat is a key for me/my style of finishing the paint work. I would love to know what colors you are going with. Do you have a vehicle thread?

If you have the parts, I wouldn't care if you used my idea to hide the handle.  It's all about making cool toys for our kids isn't it :)  I haven't done any painting yet.  I took the pictures just before I posted them to this thread.  I haven't decided on colors yet, but I may incorporate purple in there somewhere.  The silver does look good though.  I don't have a vehicle thread yet, because I never really customized any vehicles except for a Jedi starfighter and the Pirate swoop bike I did for the mini-rig contest.  I'm going to make one now.  I probably won't finish this project for a while.  I haven't worked on customs for over a week.  Investigating work gets busier as the weather improves so I've been swamped at work.  Hope my spaceship comes out as cool as yours ;)

Love that blue stripe, really pops of the gunmetal, the red trim looks sweet as well.......
