Thanks guys! and now I think they are done. Finished weathering the walls and I think I stopped just in time. Much more and they would be too dark. I have also added the texture to the inside of the 2 dorways just ike in the film.

I absolutely love those wall sections. I dug your video, too. How do you cut out those beautiful archways?

That looks perfect LE! I wish you were my next door neighbor, lol. So I could just walk over and see everything in person. With my new baby I don't know if I'll ever get time to make customs again. At least for a few years. I'll still be around getting ideas for the future.

Thanks so much everyone!
Barry, i use a sharp blade on a box cutter. The kind you can extend out and snap off the blade as it dulls.

Re: Luke Sprywalker Dioramas Updated 9-10 Death Star Panels!
« Reply #224 on: September 10, 2012, 07:52:40 AM »
Thanks again guys for the great comments. Looks like I have sold this one so I will make another for myself in the next few weeks. I have some new design ideas after doing this one and watching ANH and freeze framing the streets scenes. I also want to build the outside of the Cantina that will connect directly to inside scenes. More of that will come into play soon. For now I have started something else, Laser cut Death Star panels!

Still needs some sculpted bits and the small red terminals scratch built to be screen accurate. More on that soon!
