Thanks Ron. Yes, I started customizing with Star Wars. I started on the Indy stuff when the new line came out for KOTCS.

Wow, it has been a while since I posted anything and I am glad to get back to it today. I am working on a modular play set of a Rebel Base. The idea is that this is the storage/maintenance bay of the base. It is inside a cave/ancient burial chamber that they stumbled upon when scouting for a well hidden location. As you can see they have stolen a few imperial vehicles and made a few of their own. This is the result after about 2 days on and off mocking up what i wanted it to look like.

A few new shipping/storage containers...hey Dan see anything that looks familiar?

This one is a medical unit...

This is a WIP, I still have a lot to do and I plan to add an A-Wing to their arsonal of ships. Any help with a back story would be great! Thanks for having a look.

Looking good so far, L.E. I see a few pieces that look like they didn't quite make it onto your contest vehicle.

Wow, the ice cave look is working out great. Did you just carve styrofoam? Whatever it is, it looks great and I love how it integrates with the shippy look too. I so hope to pull this off myself one day. Can't wait to see how this turns out.

Thanks guys. It does look like an ice cave since it is white but I am thinking about a coat of primer, a base coat of black, then finish it off by blending 2 different colors of grey leaving the black in the crevices. I made the rest of the upper platforms and plastered more than half of it last night. I'll get some new pics soon...I made the plaster so runny it is still wet! I need heat in my garage...

It would look awesome as an ice cave, but it will look good that way too. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

The plaster has finally dried. Here are a few pics of the upper level I built 2 days ago.

Here it is with 3/4 of it plastered. I'll have to say it does look like an ice cave...

I don't know about you guys but I go to the thrift store every Friday. Look at this amazing find that is perfect for this dio!

What? You dont see what I am so excited about? Come on...

Look at the beautiful drawers/trays/whatever you want to call them, the parts that hold the cassette tapes. They have a familiar look/shape to them.

It looks like a troop/pilot transport to me! What do you guys think? I think it will work with a few minor changes.
