speaking of speeders, here is my very first speeder bike custom.  An old POTF speeder bike with a custom (enamel.. ack!) camo paint job.

I've still got this one, regretibly though the electronics that I had in it fell out during handling of it one day and I havn't fixed it yet... they wern't put together very well and consisted on just a flat watch battery soldered onto a switch and the LED in there...  The LED is still in place on the speeder so I will eventually revisit this one and replace the battery conection with something more permenant.

Hey, I never seen pics of that scratchbuilt walker when it was green. That still is a cool scratchbuilding job.
I like that Spider Fett. Are those legs attached to a backpack, Spud?

the spider fett was made using a broken boamar monestary monk droid thingy... the big ball thing that has the brain in it and the big bulbous tail end was both missing when I got the piece in a junk auction...  All I did was add a peg to the "thorax" piece of the monk droid and viola, instant crazy 6 legged back pack...

let me look to see if I have any othe pics of that thing...

All these are Spudafett!! I really love the speeder bikes and the tank. Great job all around.

Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?

Great stuff Devin. I like that shadow atst and love the led light on that speeder bike. Ever thought about lighting up an atat or atst?

Spud you have made some awesome vehicles man.  I love the Xanado Blood  and man what a speeder/swoop collection. No wonder you decided to build a garage!

You really need to do a pic or three showing how you mounted the LED...

realy, all I did was drill a hole just big enough for the LED to fit snugly into, then superglued it.

I then just soldered two wires from the LED's positive and negative leads.

on one lead I soldered a switch

on the open end of the switch I soldered another wire

the two loose ends of wire were then pressed up against the correct sides of a flat watch cell battery (trial and error to figure out which wire is + and which is -)

after I figured that out I took a flashing curicuit from an old set of christmas lights and wired it to the switch as well.  Because the switch was a 3 way toggle I was able to toggle the light from off to flashing to constantly on...

I'll have to fix it back up and shoot a video of it cuz I don't think I ever took a video... :(
