Oh, geeeeeze...

The mouth is *perfect* for this vehicle!  Absolutely breath-taking entourage you've assembled here.  Stunning.  Fabulous!  I gotta get busy and rethink my entire approach, now...

nice goin jules.  I realy like it!  I love the new decals and the entire ensemble.

just remember that by the original rules only the vehicle itself is going to be judged in the comp.  Not it's support craft or pilots, but they definately add to the fun. ;)

great job again buddy.  I realy like.

how many more versions of it do you think you'll do before the end of the contest ;) lol

I liked the clear glass on the canopy so much I took Spud's advice and cut/pried out the tinted side windows. As you can see below the window frame area ripped when I was trying to get that glue to loosen up. Not sure what they used but that is the strongest glue ever!

I also cut the second widow hole in the front canopy. Then I started on the armor plating and added a few grebies. I may add some above that second window, not sure about the lower cockpit area. I tried a piece under the window but it is so rounded it didn't work/I didn't try to re do it. I also don't want to overdo it so I stopped here to think about it and hopefully get some input.

LS, perhaps I was too hasty in submitting my entry.

The fact that you are now adding panelling in the way of polistyrene sheet is very worrying, I am beginning to see where you are going with this and it doesn't look good for my meagre offering.  I should have remembered your custom tanks....I KNOW that that is going to be superb.

Thanks guys but I am still hoping for a little input. Does it look ok to stop here with the plating or should I try to get some under that side window?

Jules don't worry the ship you created is very original and super cool. Your presentation is way better than mine will be and size doesn't matter. I love the last shot where everything is attached and the small droid is on the side compartment. Everything fits together great and looks very imperial! I also spotted you tinkering with the ship in one pic.

i think you should out it under the window mate... and also on the roof with plenty of grebies on the top, its starting to not look like a trek ship  ;D

A well-built sniper rifle is a beautiful thing. Ours has two zoom modes, "Up close and personal" and "Hello, you're dead

I love the addition of that armor plating! This is going to look so good with some paint. Sure, go ahead and throw a plate or two under that window if you want.

LS, my thoughtson your vehicle are that it needs to move away from being a Star Trek ship to being an Imperial vehicle. The fact that it has a trailer section suggests to me that it would be a utility rather than offensive, it could possibly be an ATAT support transport (work with me here). I'd have fuel pipes, lots of parts indicating storage for tools ect and I've got a thing about aerials, probot style.

Possible uses for the vehicle.
ATAT Support tanker/repair transport
Field Rescue and medical facility
Captain's personal ground vehicle from a Star Destroyer, used to suvey ground operations

Think of it's purpose then add the detail appropriate to it's use!

Hope that's of some help.

Thanks for the input everyone. Jules a supply transport is what I was thinking. It would have just enough weaponry to protect itself. It would also be escorted by outer vehicles and or ships to guarantee it's safe arrival. Funny you mentioned adding more grebies and piping, that is what I have started on the cockpit cover and the top as CC pointed out. I hope to have an update today or tomorrow.

it looks amazing LS, the sheet pannels makes the difference.  What type plastic are you using as a source material for those sheets?
