Spud I am using a large for sale sign, it is thicker than the small for sale sign. Cost me $2.29, I can't see paying $5 for that small sheet of styrene at Hobby Town.

Here is what I have so far and it is just about ready for paint. Sorry I didn't tape the cockpit plating down this time.

That's really taking shape,   all of the entrants thus far have been stellar.

The added outer detail is spectacular, L E! It's really looking sharp. Heck, it pops even without paint.

Thanks guys I am very excited about how this is coming together. I could not have done it without all the input and ideas from you guys. Spud , I will be adding details to the cargo hold as well but they will be very different from the shuttle and allow it to hold...more cargo. The big news is that I am getting ready to spray the second coat of paint on this baby and should have a few pics later today. I can't even describe how awesome it is painted flat grey. :o

LS, that's really coming on. The precision of the panel cuts is really amazing. I'm really looking forward to seeing your creation coming together.

Thanks everyone. If you have seen Glorbes scratch built vehicles at RS I studied them for a while and looked at various SW ships to figure out what fodder I could cobble together to make this work. This has been one of the most fun projects ever. As for the progress I just figured out a system to make the side storage bins easily removable and have 2 on either side of the main storage bin. I should be done with the rest of the bin tomorrow.I just have to figure out the handrail/further side storage bins up to the back door of the shuttle.

I am SO NOT going to enter this contest :P The work coming out of it is AWESOME!!

However, I am working on something so I'll just put it in here for the hell of it when it's done. =)

Great job on the shuttle, I can't wait to see it on the tread platform.

Why go through life base fig, when you can customize?
