I took a fine point Sharpie pen and used it to blacken in all of the crevices and creases along the body of the ship.  The rust does help a bit, and looks better mixed in with the silver the best, so I'll have to do that as well.

Thanks!  I'm REALLY liking how it's coming together.  A few more touch ups to the main body, some more flecks of silver and rust, and it'll be closer!

Pat, you are going to have to take the vehicle outside and take some good quality images to really show it off...Plus I might want to give it the Hangarbay treatment! I'm loving the subtle paint effects.

See how great everything comes together with a little help and input from everyone. You are doing a great job with it as well Phatty. I want to thank Spudafett for getting this project started. It seems more like a group project more than a contest. I have really enjoyed every aspect of this site and the people here.

Ok, I'm about 98% done.  I have some decals I want to try and design and print out, and then it'll be finished...I hope.  I need some serious criticism here folks!  If it needs fixing, it needs fixing, but overall design, I'm pretty happy.  I've flocked corners and other parts here and there with smidgeons of rust, as well as dry brushed some black across the silver to give it the worn look.  I've completed the accessorizing of it, and have weathered and rusted the new guns.  The ONLY thing I never got to work right was the lights.  I spend quite a bit, and it never took off.  No biggie, really, but it would've been nice!  I'm just not a lighting expert!  Anyway, check these out and let me know what you think...

The tank is looking good Pat. I like it a lot! I like the lt. blue you left on there, the grey panels break it up really well. Love the new guns and the weathering. That blast effect is a great idea, that really makes the whole thing look that much better. Great job Pat!
