We have over a foot already. If it keeps this up we will be doing Christmas just by ourselves! that could be fun though.

Oh, its broke out I just hope my neighbor plows like he usually does or I will be snowed in for awhile.

well in the U.K. weve had about 4 inches of snow and theres sheet ice everywhere oh and its bloody cold!

The snow continues to fall here, ever since the early morning, about eight or nine hours now.  They might just give us off school if it's like this on Monday.(Snow on the ground everywhere, not snowing)

You're still in school? How long do you get out for Christmas? My last day of school was on Friday and I go back January 1st.

Kirk, I couldn't agree more and the kids in my district go to school till Tuesday and I don't like that much.

Ok back to the weather, I am gonna go measure, but we got well over two feet of snow. I have snow tunnels cleared from the vehicles, my building, the wood pile, and the basement. The bummer is my brand new heating system is acting up. It will work and get the room to temp, but won't shut off. The bad thing is I didn't get plowed out yet so if he can't get in tomorrow I will be outta luck as they say. My brother is supposed to come down and plow me out today though.

I hope he does, we have more snow forecast for Wednesday! Geesh.

Well we are hours away from a major snow storm.  They are talking between 12-20"  of heavy wet snow.  Suppose to start later tonight and ending sat morning.  We are planning on heading to wife's parents xmas morning its about 90 miles away, hopefully the roads will stay driveable.

Same here,, I am not looking forward to this, we are in for lighter snow but freezing rain  for most of tomorrow morning then upto 1 foot of snow, 

   Stay safe on the roads Chad, or just stay home,

I will take snow over the freezing rain anyday, it makes the roads a mess for along time.  I think we are going to wait and see for friday morning.

Wow, don't like the sound of that weather. We are due for freezing rain and ice pellets Thursday night and Friday all morning. Might just be a home celebrated Xmas. I ain't driving on ice. I did that one Sunday a few weeks back and it was an awful experience.
