looks cool hb.... but it doesn't look anythign like a skipray blastboat.



can I ask why you called it that? 

I realy love the paint scheme though, when i saw the WIP shot of the parts just cobbled together I had my doubts, but after the new paint scheme it realy pulls together nicely.

I seem to have stirred up a hornets nest when I called this a Skipray Blastboat...

I intended using the model as a replacement for the blastboat in my novel, but after so many people started raving about the fact that it looks nothing like the Blastboat I had to withdraw the name...

So now it's an unknown ship...

haha..  didn't know I was "stiring the hornets"...

I was just making an observation.

I was actually going to suggest calling it a "skipray gunboat" as well, close enough to the original name but different enough to make a distinction.

Kreepers...Hmmm, that is an excellent name, but as this craft is Imperial, I'm pretty sure it would be inappropriate. Saying that Im will be needing names for ships in the XWA Web-comic, so with your permission, I'd like to use the name for another ship that I am working on!

This is going to be my next custom project. It's supposed to be Dash Rendar's Outrider, but whoever created this toy must never have seen the ship as it is totally the wrong scale.

The Outrider is supposed to be approx 2/3rds the size of the Millennium Falcon, and this version is smaller than a B-Wing. What I like about this ship is she's got a swivelling mid section ,again not true to the outrider but it does make for a very interesting Fighter Class ship.

I think I'm going to call her the "Correllian Gunstar". She'll probably see a few different paint schemes  ahead of her, but the 1st one is going to be very distinctive. I have a load of red paint..so lets see what I can do with her...
