Guys, I know that anything GI Joe attracts lots of attention, and this latest Hangarbay item is sure to please the pants off of all of you!

I put in a crazy bid (£3.00) for a played with, but mostly complete GI Joe Mobile Command Vehicle and won it! (the postage was a tenner but that's another story).

It arrived a couple of days ago and the kids have been playing with it, giving it a test run so to speak. I gave them a choice of creating a Sandcrawler (Jawa style), a Mandalorian / Pirate vehicle or a Clone Army Command Unit....Guess what they chose???

Well you'll have to wait to find out!

Day 1...remove all stickers, add a few greebleys, wash it in white spirits and prime all parts....

Aw, man! You lucky dog! I have wanted one of these for a while as well. Great score Jules and I bet they want a clone command post. Can't wait to see you work your magic!

HB-94

I HAVE THAT ONE !!!

I shortened it by taking out the middle level, the middle section is used as a command center, and the vehicle is used as a monster-super  tank for the droid army!!!

Its like you're living inside my brain.  But, you have talent and dedication to finalize the projects that I think of!!!

What am I thinking now?

Gwest

The first time I saw that vehicle i thought it would be perfect for Jawa Sand Crawler. Whatever you do I'm sure it will be great.

I'm with you on that Clone Sniper, it's rhe perfect Sandcrawler/scavenger transport vehicle. Unfortunately my kids were not sold on the idea, so it's destined to be something else..

I am anxious to see what you cobble out of this one, Jules. My money is on the Mando pirate vehicle.

sounds interesting Jules
A Mandalorian / Pirate vehicle that would be very cool but also the Clone Army Command Unit and the Sandcrawler are great ideas.
Can't wait to see what you are going to make.

Ok, after finally getting down to the hobby shop to get some more paint (this baby is huuuge and I'm on my second spray can) I've now completed painting the main colour coat onto the entire vehicle.

I'm using a paint called Plasticote, and it seems to be able to adhere to plastic surfaces better than any other product I've tried, so this vehicle should be able to withstand quote a hammering and the paint will stay in-tact.

I've now completed the top floor with the hope that I'll be finished by the weekend.

I guess the image is giving the game away as to what my kids decided on!!!
