I love that new Y-Wing.  It looks so much better with the weathering and fine detail.  I'm not sure which I liked more though, the yellow, blue, or green!

Wow, are those printed decals? What a great idea. That console looks good. I could sure see that Y-Wing doing a trench run with that photo you made.

B-Wing Green 3 +++X-Wing Alliance Update+++

Ok folks, this is the final ship in the Rancor Series.

This time it's a B-Wing...squadron assignment Green - Bravo-3  (Bravo signifying B-Wing). With Alliance losses mounting, squadrons are using a mixture of fighters and bombers and performing varied missions.

I've painted this example using the same wing design as the X-Wings, with an additional flash across the smaller S-Foil. Weathering is next...

To get the peeled paint effect I've used liquid mask applied using the coarse side of a washing up sponge.






I've also re-painted the X-Wing as I was never really satisfied with it. I'll be weathering both ships at the same time so more images to follow....

do you have the gun mounts for the b-wing?  I'm assuming you removed them to paint it... 

Looks great!  I love the chipped effect of the stripes. it adds such realism to your paintjobs.
