I hope everyone is keeping well?

Wow, it's been a while since I have done any customising, but I have had the urge to try something new. Moving away from Star Wars for a while but remaining true to my love of sci-fi I am going to produce some work based upon the game Homeworld.

The vehicle I am going to create has been inspired by this image:


A satellite orbiting the planet Kharak has discovered a large metallic object in the deep desert and a survey team is sent to investigate...

I have just purchased this vehicle for the custom work:


When complete it will be a long range desert survey transport. I will post wip images as I progress.

Cool cant wait Im a huge fan of Homeworld 1&2 so I'm looking forward to what your up to with thos project. Oh and Im still interested in that "Nar Shadda 'CPA' Interceptor Patrol " you did.

I'll admit I have been searching on Ebay for months to try and find that Space Precinct vehicle with no such luck. After seeing what you did with it I was "AMAZED" and had to try it for myself. LET THE BIDDING WARS BEGIN!!!! LOL

Can't wait to see what you do with this one. Are you going to change the wheels any? The pic of the toy you showed, they look too toy like, just snap on.

I too was looking for one of those interceptors, but at that price, I'll pass, there are a million other ships out there to play around with, lol.

That Interceptor is great - both Jules' and the Space Precinct original.

I am definetly trying to find one to mod out myself a bit as well

Jules I can not wait to see what you're going to do with that land vehicle.  It's going to look great.

The Scorpion - Long range All-Terrain Transport.

The vehicle is derived from a modular all-pirpose transport. Re-fitted specifically for deep-desert exploration, the vehicle features a fusion turbine giving it almost unlimited range and high top speed, a moisture vaperator to supply it's crew and a very comfortable, air conditioned cabin. The charged particle cannon is fitted in case the survey team encounter rogue tribes that  roam the borderlands between the temperate and deep desert zones.

This is great.  i agree with wraithnine everything fits together perfectly .  Just curious was the movie's alien and prometheus  an inspiration for you ? Cause i see alot of the two combined here and it is done real well  .... All the best Art

I always thought the razorback looked like a moon rover so it fits in SW much better IMO.
