hot d@m first time seeing this, what a fun project.
but don't u just hate the fact u don't have the time to work on it though ugh!!
just throwing an idea out there, u might be to far into it now to add it anyways, but how about adding some sort of hydolic lift so that once that bad boy is opened it can lift and rotate above the walker to aim forward.  Something simple might work by just adding some pvc between the canon itself and is undercarrige attached to the walker.  And just for clarification i don't mean anything spring loaded or actual working lift mechanism.  Just remove the gun from walker add the lift and put gun back on to give it the "look"

Only reason i suggest it is cuz thinking real  world a gun like that would suck if it could only shut backwards and a lumbering machine the size of a walker would take a while to turn around

Imagine those huge railway guns that the Germans used during ww2 where they  would have an elevation adjustment but as far as aiming let or right, they would have to find a part of the train track that would point them in the right direction.

Just a teaser shot here. I still have a lot of painting to do including touch ups but wanted to show tamer which direction I was headed with the detail paint. Subtle dark details with some gunmetal highlights. Some silvers may end up there but i wanted to stay away from anything too bright. I am going for an industrial look.

Nice. Very nice. Clint, what do you think about filling in those screw holes? or paint the screw heads that same grey?

You probably can't see the smile on my face, but I feel like its still Christmas seeing these updates.

I was actually looking for something to serve as a cap for the two that hold screws and a curved plate piece for the forward one.
Merry Christmas, buddy.

I still haven't filled those screw holes yet but I did manage to do some more detail painting on this side tonight. I have a bit more to do but am anxious to add some greeblies to this side and get those holes covered up at the same time.

Hm, once I got closer for the last two shots, it didnt look as tight. I will have to work on that.

haha long johns @ least it's not a Snuggie
anyway that paint job is SICK i love it.
1 thing i've hated about painting toys and what i like about models those D@MN screws stand out like a sore thumb.  never did try anything to fix em but i thot nail filler might work especially since it's sandable.

Oh, I have me some plans for covering those screw holes. That's next on my to do to tamer's project list. I could have just filled em with resin and went on but I have something else in mind.
Thanks for your comments. The fun part is coming next.
