What is you favorite beast from the OT and why. For me hands down it is the tauntaun. It is an awesome creature that reminds me of a horse and the cowboys riding into town so to speak.

I liked the Rancor from ROTJ. I love the growling snarling noise that he would make.

The Rancor was cool, and somehow has some similar features to my dog...but for me it's the Wampa. Not sure why, considering it was only on screen for a whole 3 minutes at most, but it was a badass creature!

I like Dewbacks. Don't ask me why it was just the first thing that popped into my head.

3 way tie:

Wampa

Rancor

Sarlaac
Star Wars is not about the characters or plot...its about people settling their differences with ungodly amounts of hate and violence.

Rancor and Wampa... Both want to eat Skywalker (and the fate of the galaxy will be better)

Whatever it was on Tattooine  that died and left the REALLY FRIGGIN HUGE skull and spine...  (we *assume* it was a Krayt Dragon...)

Which reminds me - I really need to repaint that Frilled Lizard so that it looks more like a Krayt Dragon.

The Tauntaun this was the first animal I ever wanted as a kid, it's just so damn cute, I actually wanted a real one to ride when I was a kid as well.

Did you see that sleeping bag ThinkGeek.com has up for sale? I would love to have one, but its pricey.
