I shall be Fred Kruger, entrepreneur!  I have a shirt that looks WAY too much like Freddy's sweater, so I bought a brown hat and am going as pre-burnt Fred!  I'll be handing out candy to the trick or treaters til 7 and then off to a local bar to hang with friends!

I'm going shopping for more molding/casting supplies.  Then one of my aunts is hosting a hayride.  Assuming we don't float away before then, that is!

Outland Station, tho, is having a costume party...more on that later!

well, both the kids have costumes, I think. .. I'm especially proud of the little man's costume, I'll be sure to post it.

Since its raining and terrible here, probably just hand out candy or what not if anyone shows up.

We did splurge on the "good stuff" this year in case we get stuck with it.

Cool deal folks. I will be donning the Darth Vader breather and going trick or treating for the first time in about 28 years. I think I remember how it all works though. Do I bring any eggs this time though?

Here are some shots of the decorations we put up this year. Not as much as some years but ours is more decorated than any house on the block. that first shot shows the coffee table in the living room. We found that crazy halloween slipcover for the couch at a target.

Pretty cool couch cover Clint. Man, if I lived somewhere traffic would get to I would decorate like that too. I like Halloween almost as much as Xmas.

Awesome guys, love the posts.

On a side note, I wore my Mario costume to work today. We got this little contest going on, best costume gets a $25 gift card, 2nd place is like $20, and so on. My co-workers got a big kick out of it, as did my manager. The only thing that was a downer was a few customers ignored the costume or put on a "oh brother" kind of face. A few adults did like it, especially ones who had their children with them. Most of the kids would point and yell "Mario!" which was cool to see.

I just had a funny idea, but I have no time to pull it off.  I should set up all my cantina furniture on the kitchen counter after the rest of the family heads out to the hayride, pull out the empty Sam Adams Octoberfest bottle, get out a BUNCHA figs, and start setting stuff up!  I got an Obi-Wan with his mouth open to hold a (missing) rebreather - he'd get a length of fishing line to run from his mouth and up into the Sam Adams bottle.  Maris Brood would be cuffed and bent over, getting spanked by the Bespin Guard.  Torture Rack Solo would be at the bar knockin' 'em back.  Various peoples passed out on the counter,  etc etc.

Cheezy, I know.  But it'd make *me* giggle manically.

What good time? I was at work. :P

Nah but it was fun though. One time during my shift, one of my co-workers bumped into me. Before he could say anything I "shrunk" by squatting down, looked up at him and said "Aww come on, really? What the hell!"

Here is my first dress up since 28 years and the first one for my little gal!




She filled up her darth vader pail in record time. It was a pretty fun time.
