I love a good WW2 dio too. Still gotta agree I am glad SW got you. Reread that old post about something that would cause me to fret. Can't wait to see what that is.

It's always nice to have something to look forward to, isn't it? Even when you don't know what it is. :D

Just put it out of your mind, buddy. You will have plenty to lose sleep over before I dive into that one.

Yep, and you know how much I enjoy teasing you.
You are just setting yourself up and I'm not telling, at least, not yet.

I can see it in my head, though, and you are going to want it for another trophy piece, I can just imagine.

Doc,

I've been browsing through this post and am stunned by the quality of your dio's and customs.  Your work on creating ground effects is amazing, all of the numerous creations shown here are really superb and I've really enjoyed browsing through this great post.

Your customs are some of  the best I've seen. I see a WW2 diorama, is that where you have honed your skills?.

I've been very rude by not posting a comment on your fine work sooner, my apologies.

Jules

Jules, please call me Clint. Why thank you very much. Since you are a diorama guy, I'm surprised that you haven't found your way to this thread sooner. Yes, it was my passion for the military and car model building that prepped me for what I love now.
Thanks again, buddy.

I haven't even tried to show you my ubuilt armor model collection. It is impressive in itself.
Yep, watching those old masters work in the seventys military modeler magazinesbis where I first got the desire to build dioramas. I still have some of those old issues aroundnthe house.

I have two more diorama brownies going here. One is to be mine and the other is to be part of the prize in the next shipyards contest. Contest details will be revealed soon. Stay tuned.

Cool deal, I love a good contest! And one of your dios to boot. We call that a win win!

To simply say that I'm impressed by your work would be  a huge understatement.
These dios really bring your well executed customs to another level of cool.
I stand in awe of your work. Exemplary, to say the least.

Well thanks again there, R1bb1t!
I'm so busy at work here, lately that I haven't found time to work on any dios here, lately but that is about to change.
I have never tried anything on the scale of the ones in your collection room but I would like to one day.
I am actually in the planning stages of building one that will be bigger than any other diorama that I have ever built, thus far.

I had to say so long to the little desert dio that Dawn won in the build off contest today so I figured I could squeeze off a few shots before I packed it up. I have posed the desert ops sniper fig which I still havent made accessories for upon it.
