In the past, I know that I had talked about making a forced perspective diorama where vehicles of the same design but different scales could be used in a dio to emulate a greater distance as perceived by the viewer from a certain angle.

This technique was used in the dio in these first two shots.

That third shot shows a different dio of the rebel trench defenses on Hoth, I would like to cobble together a smaller version of that one of these days.

That was an awesome video, Daddy. I am honored. You did have your work cut out for yourself putting that video together. How long did it take for you to gather all of those pics?

Love these false perspective shots of the imperial walkers. very impresive scale manipulation. i would have never thought to do that. fantastic diorama!

Not my dio with the walkers. I have always wanted to try a forced perspective shot like that though.

here are some pics of the little dio that I made from an at-te gunner's base for that jungle camo clone commander. As before, I drilled a few holes for the sticks that make up the shrubs, coated the base with a watered down white glue mixture. And peppered it down with train diorama static grass. The foilage on the sticks were glued in place and then sprayed with the watered down glue mixture and sprinkled with the same static grass.  I made sure to leave the foot peg exposed to ease the mounting of the fig.

How annoying for me that I didn't see this before!  What a terrific idea! I love it!

Thats some old stuff, Justin. I used to really enjoy making those. I have some of those bases laying around just waiting and plenty of the dio material to make it with.

My, this one is dusty.
    So I have got a project that I’m into that might well compare to Dryfuss building Devils Tower in his living room.
  I’ve been bustling about from phase to phase of the project and had been taking some pics that I thought looked pretty cool.
  Seems spooky to post after so long. A lot has happened around here, it seems overwhelming
  No, this isn’t for a train set layout but something more up Wayne’s alley.

    I’ll start out with saying I was painting butterflies two days ago and that I was Re working sign bases yesterday with plastruct

This looks like H0 scale...or is it 1:64? Anyway I’ve never seen butterflies in that scale - SO tiny! Your eyes must be sharper than required for the Air Force!
