It's from the Hoth playset, I think.  The one with the AT-AT backdrop and the elevator.  I believe the base was the same of that used in Land of the Jawas playset.  Once ESB rolled around they cast the base in white instead of tan and changed the cardboard backdrop.  I think...

Thats correct on the turret part

As for the Hoth Ice Planet, that wasn't exculsive but the Hoth Turret and Probot was exclusive to Sears.

Weapons compartment lid on the Chewbacca bandolier strap--it was for figure storage or "wearing".  Nothing like wearing your favorite figures around town.
