Look like a lightsaber of some sorts, but it also looks too short for that.
Part of a blaster perhaps? From a 12" Stormtrooper, then?

That was my mess up. I have never seen a vintage set with my own eyes, so I'm taking random guesses. How about panels to an Echo Base playset, if they made one?
