Thanks Jt, I think I've got enough images for the mo, but if I need more I'll send some storyboard sketches showing you the images I need.

Cheers!

As a prelude to release I'll be showing stills from the short film. Here is the 1st, in the forground is the photoshopped image I posted yesterday which forms part of a 30 second segment. I've tried to re-create an Anime style for this sequence.

I've yet to add some more special effects into the forground, so it's still a work in progress. The 30 second segment will have taken around 8 hours to produce. The mad thing is that like all movies the sequence may never reach it to the finished piece, but I will produce an effects reel after the rerlease showing unused footage./font]

I'd love to know your opinions and thoughts and if anyone has any ideas or movie shots that they think I could gain inspiration from please let me know.

So you are producing this frame by frame now, in fact, animating the whole segment? That is amazing buddy. I can't wait to see the next installment.

Yep Clint, special effects like lasers, sun glows, computer lights etc all have to be animated frame by frame, rendered then re-rendered in a different program...today I got the shock of my life as my 500Gb hard driv has filled up almost overnight as my work in progress folder is litereally eating up memory like a black hole.

I'm hoping to have the next segment ready for March..I'll add some more stills over the coming weeks.

Thanks guys for checking me out here, I appreciate it!

Ok fellow Star Wars fans, the next Dark Child movie is nearing completion, and this one promises to be a huge leap forward in the Photonovel experuience.

Unlike the other short animations I've gone back to my Star Wars roots with this one, the soundtrack has been taken from the 1st movies and hopefully it will bring back memories of the original Star Wars experience, that's what I'm hoping anyway.

Most of the next movie involves special effects as it's the chase scene between the old Custom Imperial Troop transport (Bessie) and a squad of Republic Gunships. Expect laser blasts, explosions, zoom shots the works....

Trying to update everyone is hard as I can't post movie segments, but here are a couple of green screen items. One is the entrance to the underworld, the other is a cockpit shot of Jodo.

I think I'm about a couple of weeks away fro0m release, expect a full 10 minute movie.

Ok I figured out a way of showing you guys my progress...I can screen grab the software I'm using.

Right now I'm on with the next Chapter and the underworld gives plenty of scope for some excellent special effects. I've already got some great shots. Here is something I'm working on at the moment. itr's a shot with a mysterious Jedi looking down on Bessie as she enters the Underworld...In this image I'm adding a very subtle spot light to bessie as she travels accross the screen in the far distance.

Wow, I thought photobucket was technical. I would love to watch this over your shoulder for about an hour or two.

Oh, your last video has been added to its home Jules. Bravo.

I should do a video just to show you how boring it all is...Boring but addictive...In fact another edition of Inside the hangarbay is well overdue.

Shawn, I can't tell you how appreciative I am of the space you have given me, it's a great home for the novel and it makes me want to constantly improve it.
