Ok,here is what I've been working on this evening.
I want to create a few atmospheric shots of a character walking though the streets of the underworld. To do this I'll be using lots of layers and by using zoom and blur effects it should create a some interesiting and quite artistic views. I'm trying to create a more stylish look for the next movie...
Here is an example of a virtual diorama I've made using the same panels I use for my real life dioramas. Ive had to use photoshop to build up the image out of lots of panels. Below are images showing the different layers with a background and foreground blur so that you can see how I plan to use the effects. I suppost this is similar to how a PC game renders 2d textures to create the illusion of 3d.
