Thanks guys! I'm using a fräs (Swedish word) think its called a "milling cutter" (see picture nr 1, copy from google) But its a big one at my brothers school!

Its pretty easy just need to be aware that you can hurt yourself while doing this.

After using the milling cutter i paint it and apply some texture on it and paint it in the colours i want!

First Nice stands love the Commandos one. One question I have is how are the figures attached or are they loose and just standing on there? Do you use a peg system for mounting the figures?

Thanks dude! =) Yeah i make a hole in the base and put on a peg! I'm just using a single peg because every figure don't have the same legs.

Hope this picture helps, its just another display stand i made using red and black paints!
