Yes, i am at the airport, buddy. It's 5 degrees in kc right now. At my final destination, it is to be 78, today. Do you think that the long johns I'm wearing might feel a bit stuffy when I get off the plane in Florida?

Yepper, I would say so.

Got back from my trip to Florida Sunday to below freezing temps and blowing snow. BRRRRRRRRR! I wanted to book a flight back, immediately. We had a great time and the highlight of the trip was when a couple of friends of my folks loaned their timeshare condo to the Wifey and I for a day. It was right on the beach and was plenty fancy enough. We spent nearly that entire day walking the beach and the little shopping district, there. My second most favorite day was when the folks took us to just north of the Everglades where we chartered an airboat ride through the mangrove swamps. We seen several Gators, that day. We took a short drive afterwords to the north end of the Everglades and hiked this wooden walkway into the swamp. It reminded me of Endor or Kashyyyk with the lush trees and undergrowth. I shot some video of the airboat ride and have it uploaded to flikr but all they give me is an embed code and not a link. I shall have to try to upload it to Youtube so that you guys can see it.

More Florida pics
All these were taken during the airboat ride we took just north of the Everglades
That is my mom and stepdad on the back row. The airboats can get a little noisy, hence the ear protection the wifey is wearing.

Man, what I wouldn't give to see some green like that right now. I am sick and tired of the color white. Love that shot of Shipyards spelled on the beach. That might have to go on the fp tomorrow. I am just too internet whipped right now.

Moms house is 10 min from the job so I am staying there, tonight and alot of next week.
Got ten hours in today. Bring on that money.

That would be cool to see!

My all time favorite boat ride was probably down in Philly, on the "Duck" boats, that had been able to drive on land and in water, which was pretty cool.

You know something, Clint?
I think I have your twin brother in my reenacting unit.
He usually wears a moustache, but shaves it off for events as German soldiers normally were not bearded.

looks good Clint. I actually worked a little bit in what is gonna be my garden today. Nothing much, but it was nice to get outside. I like the plastic edging aligning with what I am assuming are four by fours.  That reminds me I installed a new hose reel last year, but still need to buy the hose for it.
