Well, there's yer problem... you weren't using grenades!
I think that is illegal in this part of the country, doc. Besides, I still have the upcoming 4th of july celebration to save those for.

Sorry to hear it was a wash Clint. There is always next time. I haven't yet figured out where I have my poles stashed so that tells you how many times I have been fishing.
I believe that you will find your poles behind the third stack of MIB walkers, on the left. :o

Woof, what a day!! I got up at the usual 4:00 am and hit the deck running. I had two resin sets to crank out for Micheal, first thing, and had two more to suggestive sell to a couple of international buyers. One in Australia and another in Singapore. I started production on those and went ahead and finished packing up the whopping 10 ebay items that I had to ship out, today. I had one big box to take just to get a price quote. And I had another to take home from John. right about the time I got halfway into it, the wife calls and says that they are cutting down on hours at her work and that she was coming home. Once she got here, we dove head-first into our continuing basement cleanup and worked on it for a straight 4hrs. I carried out 1 couch, 1 recliner, three bags and one box of trash, three boxes of hand-me-downs to the neighbors, and a 19 inch TV to them as well.
I just got back to my terminal and have to tell 9 people that their items have shipped, give tracking numbers to 6 of them and let John know that my package arrived.
Wow, all of this cleanup is in preparation of her parents showing up in two weeks. Don't get me wrong as they are cool. It's just that their habits are more meticulous than ours and we like to put on a show.

The Singapore sell is a go! As is a second chance offer on the Mando head set. I am nearing completion on both of them and have continued negotiations with the austrailian buyer. I was about to seal the deal when I think it got past his bed time.
Going to rent a pressure washer, today, and spray off the deck in prep for the spring coat of waterseal.

And wet, I was. I'll bet after 4 1/2 hours straight pressure washing, I had at least 3 inches worth of water in one of my mud boots.

Anyway, I moved from that crappy deal to the crappy deal of staining the beast. The lattice is just a killer!! I have been working on it 3-4 hrs a day for the last 3.  I figure if I get started early, tomorrow, I will be done. Man, now I remember why I skipped doing this, last year. I went with a redwood color, this time, and even though it is a sudden change, I like it. I will post some pics when I am done.

Got a call from my boss, yesterday, and heard from him that I had two more weeks off and then it's a big overtime job in Lawrance KS. 6 days a week and 1 1/2 hrs away. It will be like going from one extreme to another. Plus, it will be getting hot about that time. I'm sure that the first week will kill me.
Sure need the work, though.

Finally, this pig is done!! I worked on this from 9, till 4 with an hour break to pack some auctions and run to the po.
I am so glad to be done with this and just in time for the wifeys folks to show up on Friday.
What do you guys think? I built this deck, 6 years ago, to replace our houses then equipped dinky 10"x 10" deck.
