Hi All,

I was able to get hold of two TFA Troopers and decided to paint and weather one up, these are just quickie pics and I will have my normal outdoor pics tomorrow. I also made a desert/barren base for him and as per my son's request he will still have his articulation.

Hi All,

Here are my usual outdoor pics and the trooper was painted and weathered using Vallejo and GW paints and Pastels.

The base is from a old DVD container with a foam core insert and then the ground was built up using a mix of plaster of paris, sand and small stones, the larger stones are from the garden and pushed into the plaster mix while still wet.

Once dry I then painted and weathered the base using Vallejo paints and Pastels and the small shrubs are from Army Painter.

Thanks again Shawn and to be honest if I didn't see these physically I would have given them a miss but I'm glad I picked them up. I also series 1 TFA 6" figures coming and I really want to go back to my statue type diorama's again and the Hasbro 6" figure are perfect for it.
