Hi All,

Besides doing the Indy 1:6 scale Boulder Chase dio I'm also doing a few small dio/displays for mt Mezco Trek figures. I have done a small video to show you where I'm at and also the voice effects I have adde.

Hi All,

Here are pics of the process so far on the Kirk Diorama.

The base is high density foam with balsa wood sides and the floor and top part of the column are high density foam as well.

The base of the column is balsa wood and the column itself is PVC pipe with corragated cardboard wrapped around it.

I then used watered down spakfilla and lightly brushed it over the column. I then used Army Painter Castle Grey as a base coat and then I gave it two washes of Army Painter Matt white.

Once the wash was dry I then gave it a very light wash of Army Painter Matt black. The dirt was done by mixing real dirt, sand, broken thin sticks in with spakfilla and Vallejo Chocalate Brown.

Hi All,

The boulder for the indy dio is made and I just need to paint it. I used a balloon and then used plasta cloth to cover it and once dry I then used watered down spakfilla and covered the boulder with it.

Hi All,

The base is now done and I just need to repaint the figures and equipment.

The ground work was given two light dry brushed of Vallejo Beige Brown and the two light dry brushes of Vallejo Beige Brown and Army Painter Flat White.

The bushes are from Woodland Scenics and the small tufts of grass are from Army Painter and the creeping vines are from MiniNatur.

Hi All,

The Trek dio is now complete and here are my usual out door pics. I have repainted the figures heads, hands, equipment and boots. Once dry I used a gloss varnish on the eyes, lips and boots.
