Hi All,

Sorry I haven't been on the last few days as I have been crook but feeling heaps better now.

I have done another side of the boulder chase dio adding the balsa wood for the crate part of it and I just have 1 and half sides to go then the dio is completed.

Hi All,

Here are the usual pics and also recipe for the Batmobile.

Recipe

Batmobile - is from Polar Lights and was built straight out of the box with no problems at all a very crisp kit with a little flash here and there on the kit. The decals were the worse part but thank to my mate I was able to get some Mr Mark Softner solution to fix them up.

Base - is high density foam and I used a small sandstone a tapped it over the base to simulate a tarred road. The ground was done with a mix of sand and spakfilla and once dry was painted and then the trees/shrubs/dead branches are from Woodland Scenics-Fine leaf foliage.

The sign and fence are done using balsa wood and the writing was done using a plastic stencil, the small grass tufts are from Army Builder.

Hi All,

The Batboat was a commission for the same friend that I did the Batmobile for.

The Batboat is from Polar Lights and was built straight out of the box and was painted with Vallejo and Army Painter paints.

The base is high density foam and I covered it and made the waves using spakfilla, once dry I then painted it with Vallejo Dark Green and once dry I dry brushed the waves white.

When the dry brushing was dry I then used Woodland Scenics Realistic Water and covered the water with it. Once the Realistic Water was dry I then used Woodland Scenics Water Effects and dapped it over the waves to added more depth to the waves.

Hi All,

Almost done on the 1:6 scale boulder chase dio. I added the crate using balsa wood and gave it a few washes of Vallejo's beige brown, I just need to give it a light sanding then it's done.

Hi All,

The Indy boulder dio is now complete. I used a plastic stencil to do the stencilling on the crate and then gave the figure and the dio weathering using pastel chalks.
