Hi All,

Finished this guy up last night.

Mugato - I used a POTA Luca Gorilla and glued the joints and made the horn, spikes and tail out of high density foam. Once the the spikes, horn and tail were attached I used cotton wool for the fur.

I then gave the fur a very very light wash of grey and then left to dry for 24 hours then I dry brushed the fur with Vallejo flat white until I was happy with the way it look. The skin tone was done using Vallejo's flat flesh then giving it a few washes of Vallejo's light brown and the dry brushing it with a 50/50 mix of Vallejo's flat white/light brown.

Base - I used a Mezco Star Trek base and made the rocks using fom and ripping it apart and then glued it on the base. I then used watered down spakfilla and covered the rocks and the left over spakfilla I mixed in some sand and applied it to the ground.

The rocks were painted as was the ground using a variety of Vallejo's grey's and browns. The tufts of grass are from Army Builder and the bushes and small shrubs are Woodland Scenics fine foliage Olive Green.

Hi All,

Recipe

Gorn - is from Diamond Select Toys and I glued the joints and then puttied them up, I repainted and weathered him using Vallejo Paints.

Base - is from a Mezco Trek figure and I made the rocks by ripping pieces off until I liked the look of them. I then glued the rocks to the base and then covered the base and rocks using watered down spakfilla.

Ron

I then painted and weathered the the rocks and ground using Vallejo Paints and pastel chalks, the tufts of grass are from Army Builder.  The powered minerals were done by mixing paint to spakfilla then applying it to the base and the coal is just small pieces of foam ripped up and painted and weathered.
