Ron, out of all your dioramas, this is going to become one of my favurites although I don't know Thunderbirds and don't have any connection to it. But the idea you had is just BRILLIANT! I just love your idea of creating this sort of tunnel to make the area underwater not only visible, but also accessible! The water effects on the Plexiglas are just fantastic!
 The detail is just breath-taking as always.   

I am beyond impressed!

Ron ole pal you just continue to amaze me. Like I have said before when I think I have seen everything you go and do something like this. Crazy cool effect! Off to share.

Hi All,

On the last leg of the TB dio.

Pic 1 - The Woodalnd Scenics Water Effects has dried.
Pic 2 - I did another layer of the Water Effects as some of the waves I wasn't happy with.
Pic 3 - Once the Water Effects was dry the waves turned out heaps better and I gave them a dry brushe of Matt white. TB2 was also secured to the base.
Pic 4 - Once the dry brushing was done and TB2 was attached I then covered the water with Woodland Scenics Realistic Water.
Pic 5 - TB4 has been attached.

I will have my usual outdoor pics tomorrow.

Hi All,

Another TB dio in the works.

This excavator is from IMAI and is an old kit which needs alot of work especially the seams etc. This vehicle wasn't in the TV show but did show up in TB comics.

I removed the cockpit section and replaced it with plastic card and I made the chair with plastic card and added decals for the spare decals I have.

The figures were 1/72 scale German figures from Prieser and I sanded the uniforms and made the belts and shoulder section using paper. The holsters are also from the same figure kit and the cartridge holders on the left are done with thin plastic rod.
