Hi All,

More work done to the base and I have completed the AT-ST.

The foam was covered using a mix of plaster/sand/PVA glue and brown dye. Once dry I then started giving the stones a wash of Vallejo Desert Yellow, then a wash of Vallejo Beige Brown, then a wash of Vallejo Pale sand and last was a wash of Vallejo Light Brown.

The AT-ST was painted/weathered with Vallejo paints and pastel chalks. the hull sections have been completed and have the rust effect was done by using washes and chalks to get the look I wanted.

Hi All,

Last pics for the night, The dio is now 90% done. The sand was done with a 50/30/10/10 mix of plaster/sand/PVA glue/ Vallejo Desert Yellow, I mixed it all together and then spread it over the base and while it was setting I glued in place the AT-ST/figures and hulls sections.

I just need to make the sand a more realistic look to it and add just a little more weathering to everything.
