Here are pics of the process so far on the Kirk Diorama.
The base is high density foam with balsa wood sides and the floor and top part of the column are high density foam as well.
The base of the column is balsa wood and the column itself is PVC pipe with corragated cardboard wrapped around it.
I then used watered down spakfilla and lightly brushed it over the column. I then used Army Painter Castle Grey as a base coat and then I gave it two washes of Army Painter Matt white.
Once the wash was dry I then gave it a very light wash of Army Painter Matt black. The dirt was done by mixing real dirt, sand, broken thin sticks in with spakfilla and Vallejo Chocalate Brown.
