I enjoyed it. I will take realistic dinosaurs in any movie I can get em in. My daughter liked it too. I don't think the wife was enthused much, but it got her out on the town. I think it set the stage nicely for another movie where survival of humanity is at stake; or something along those lines.

I could so see you doing an Indoraptor vs. Blue dio now!

Yeah I enjoyed it as well and your right anything with dinosaurs in a movie I'm there. I think there will be another movie for sure the ending left it wide open for that.

I would love to do a Indoraptor and Blue dio but my son won't part with his Indo LOL and trying to get him now it will cost a small fortune as the store here don't sell him anymore and ebay are selling him from $80 - $100 Australian.

Hi All,

New dino diorama and this time round I did a Dilophosaurs.

Recipe

Dilophosaurus - is from Mattel's Jurassic World Lost Kingdom line, I firstly removed the metal pins that made the frill neck move and then cut the area away were the pics were. I glued the joints and then puttied them up and then painted and weathered it using Vallejo and Army Painter paints.

Base - is a plumbers PVC pipe cap and I used a model knife to scribe the top so that the spakfilla and sand mix adhere's to it better when placed over the top.

Once the mix was dry I then glued a mix of sand, lichen moss, ground up leaves and small thin sticks to thebase and once that dried I then painted the ground work using Vallejo's Dark brown.

The ferns are from the local craft shop and I cut the ends off and tied them in clumps and then glued them to the base. The clover looking plants I got form JoeFix Studios and the grass tufts are from Army Painter.

That looks awesome Ron. I remember this little guy from the first movie. He takes out the Bad Computer Tech if I recall correctly.

Off to share.

Hi All,

Another dino diorama and this time round I did a Tricertops, this is the second last dinosaur I'll be doing for a little while.

Recipe

Tricertops - is from Mattel's Jurassic World Lost Kingdom line, I glued the joints and then puttied them up and then painted and weathered it using Vallejo and Army Painter paints.

Base - is a plumbers PVC pipe cap and I used a model knife to scribe the top so that the spakfilla and sand mix adhere's to it better when placed over the top.

Once the mix was dry I thun painted the ground work using Vallejo's beige brown, the small palm plants is from JoeFix Studios and the grass tufts from Army Painter.

Hi All,

This is the last of dino diorama's for a little while and this time round I did a Baryonyx.

Recipe

Baryonyx - is from Mattel's Jurassic World Lost Kingdom line, I glued the joints and then puttied them up and then painted and weathered it using Vallejo and Army Painter paints.

Base - is a plumbers PVC pipe cap and I used a model knife to scribe the top so that the spakfilla and sand mix adhere's to it better when placed over the top.

The small water area was done by painting the base area with light green and then I used Woodland Scenics Water Effects and covered the are so it would have me depth to it. Once the Water Effects was dry I then used Woodland Scenics Realistic Water and mixed a small amount of Dark green to it and then applied it over the top of the Water Effects.

Once the mix was dry I then painted the ground work using Vallejo's Desert yellow and then gave it a wash with medium brwon, the small palm plants are from JoeFix Studios and the grass tufts and the water weeds are from Army Painter.
