Hi All,

The Panther Ausf A dio is now complete.

The figures are Miniart and I used arms are a mix of Mninart, Zvezda and Tamiya. The figures were painted and weathered using Vallejo paints, AK Interactive paints and Army Painter paints.

Pretty awesome! Must be a hassle to reconstruct the figures from different model companies, but the work pays off in realism.

Cheers mate and no not really, usually they match up very well together and on some occasions you just need to use a little putty to fil in gaps.

Hi All,

I have started a new 1:35 WW2 diorama and this one will a German PAK 40 positioned along a road in Normandy 1944.

I have got the layout the way I want it and have glued the vac formed cobblestone road down and gave the PAK 40 a undercoat of desert yellow.

The figures are from Dragon and is the Verfugungstruppe set 6309, I wanted some figure relaxing and these fit the bill perfectly.  The crates are from Tamiya ammo loading crew and the shells are metal and are from Verlinden.

Hi All,

Completed the German Pak 40 ww2 dio.

Recipe

The figure's and equipment are from Dragon Models, the ammo crates are from Tamiya and the shells are from Verlinden and the Pak 40 is from Tamiya.

The base is thick foam board and the cobblestone I have had in my parts box for years so I thought I would use it with the dio.

The ground work was done using a 80/20 mix of spakfilla and fine sand and then applied to the base. Once dry static grass was applied and left to dry then it was dry brushed to tone it down a little.

The fence is made using balsa wood and the bushes are from Woodland Scenics. The grass tufts and small bushes on the road I picked up from my local gaming shop.

Everything was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints, Army Painter paints and Pastel chalks.
