Hi All,

I decided to make another Maschinen Krieger diorama and I have completed the figure and satellite and now just to paint them.

This diorama will depict a Kauz space suit looking at a laser satellite to see if it requires any maintenance. The mech suit is a conversion from a Melusine suit and I used parts from the parts box.

The satellite was made using parts from a 1/72 Saturn rocket cargo bay section also parts from 1/35 parts, Star Trek parts and plastic card and rod.













The satellite/Kauz dio and base is completed and I used Vallejo paints to paint and weather them and the base was covered in watered down spakfilla.

That sure does look good on the front pages Ron. Awesome paint work too. I am still trying to figure out how you got the space suit attached to the dio so realistically without using anything to stablize it.

Thanks so much Shawn and the figure's hand sits perfectly on the stabilizer and all I did was super glued it.

Hi All,

Completed scratch building my next Maschinen Krieger vehicle which is 1:35 scale and this is a Mercenary vehicle which is called the BUNYIP it's a medium recon vehicle with a PWG-100 laser canon and a PWM-50 laser gun and has a crew of two (driver and commander) . I used the turrets and parts from two Hasegawa Maschinen Krieger 1/35 Nutcracker vehicle kits and also parts from a Tamiya Merkava and Sherman tank and also plastic card and rod and the crew arecfrom MasterBox.

Hi All,

I have painted and weathered the Bunyip by first spraying a coat of Rustoleum Matt Black and then Tamiya Dark Sand and then dry brushed it with Vallejo Desert Sand. I then used sand paper and did alot of wear/tear to it as it's seen it's fair share of battles plus the Australian desert environment is pretty harsh. I used decals from the Hasegawa Maschinen Krieger Gustav kit and the from Tamiya. I still need to add equipment and then weather it with padtel chalks.
