I agree with Shawn, love the pencil work ;-)

My one criticism is, where's Virgil's strings lol.

Joking aside this is awesome mate.

I don't know how I missed the final reveal of the Tarzan dio, but it turned out magnificently! Those Thunderbirds mini dios are really fun too.

Every once in awhile I loose a comment too. The SMF folks are looking into it for me. It only happens once in a blue moon, but once is enough. Especially if its a long comment!

It's good they are looking into it but the scary thing is your mind says "I know I added a comment or did I" and then you think you are loosing it LOL.

Hi All,

World War Toons - King Tiger

Recipe.

King Tiger - is from Meng Models is based of the tanks in the game World War Toons. The model was built straight out of the box and was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and pastel chalks. The decals came with the kit and I made a rookie mistake and must have touched the right hand side decal while it was drying and now it's on a lean LOL.

Base - is high density foam and the cobble stone was done using a sharp pencil and the I used a piece of sandstone and tapped it over the cobblestone and then it was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.

The telegraph pole was made using balsa wood and plastic rod. The ground work is spakfilla mixed with sand and dirt and then applied to the base, once dry I gave it a wash of Vallejo Chocolate Brown and the grass tufts are from MiniNatur and the taller grass is from MIG Ammo.

Thanks JD and I have never played the game but have seen game play of it and when Meng started making tanks it was a no brainer for me to get some as they are a great little kits to build and paint.

I love that paint job! Great setting for the tank as well. I'm always excited to see what new project you're working on.

Hi All,

World War Toons - Tiger Tank.

Recipe

Tiger and Figure - the Tiger is from Meng and was built straight out of the box and Painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints and the figure is from Yufan Models and is a resin kit and was Painted using Vallejo Paints. The figures headset and mouth piece once attached had wire attached using wire from and old electrical cord.

Base - is high density foam and the road and bridge were cut out and attached then I used a pencil and carved out the stones work and cobblestone and then I used a piece of stand stone and tapped it over the foam. The rails were made using plastic rod and tube and the top of the posts are ends of Russian ammo shells, The light pole was also made using plastic tube and plastic card and the bulb is an old fairy light. The foliage is from Army Painter and Ammo Mig and the whole dio was painted and weathered using Vallejo Paints.
