Hi All,

Pirate Smurf.

Recipe.

Smurf/house/items - the smurf is Grumpy form Jakks Pacific and I added the eye patch and belt using pleather and the buckle is from a 1:12 rifle.  The mushroom house is from Scheilch and I removed the back so you can add the figure and see inside better and the table and chairs on the bottom floor and top floor are made from balsa wood and the dock/flag pole are also balsa wood and the flag I did using PSP and the items like ships/barrel/bottles/weapons/candles/lantern/ship wheel and shells are all 3D printed

Base - is high density foam and the sand is a mix of spakfilla and dirt and once applied to the base I sprinkled fine sand over it. The low tide water was done using clear resin and the palm tree was done using a thick piece of dowel and then I wrapped string around it and the palms are just cheap ferns I got from the two dollar shop.

That is really phenomenal. I love all the little bits (like the ship in the barrel - that's my favorite) and the paint job is great. The balsa wood additions look really good, the Dock looks really good. Just plain old fun!

Hi All,

Smurf Trek.

This was a commission for a friend.

Recipe.

Smurfs/Tribbles - are from Jakks Pacific and I repainted them using Vallejo Paints and I printed off the emblems and cut them out and glued them on. The phasers/tricorders/communicators are from Mezco One:12 Star Trek figures and the tribbles are just small fur balls from the craft store which I dry brushed.

Base -  is high density foam and the dirt is a mix of spakfilla/dirt/sand and applied and once dry it was painted and the mushrooms were printed using my 3D printer and the tall fury plant stems I removed from some plastic ferns I use for Endor diorama.
