Okay! Let's start this thread with one that I've been wanting to do for a VERY long time but I could never find a nerf rifle I liked that wasn't 30 bucks =) Then one sunny fall day I found it.. for $1.25.. I don't know if it works.. (don't care) but it looked pretty cool...

It came with two clips, scope and a second smaller rifle.. (which I may do as a blaster at a later time)
My daughter is modeling it..

So now I am doing it up Sten style!


So far I'm going with olive green, black and lots of highlights and shiny parts.

What all are you going to do to the gun?

I'm just going to do a straight up repaint. Unfortunately I don't have the time to do more... I had thought of adding an LED. (maybe still will)..

At the moment it's olive green and with black.. I'll add some silver, bronze and wear... It shouldn't take me too long..

Ok, got a little work done on this over the weekend.

Everything is primed and I just had to add some detail work. I did some detail on the scope to give myself something to compare and work with..

What do you think so far?? Should be done by the end of the week.. Have to fill in all those tough to reach places.. =)

The more I look at this the better I like it. Had to fp it. I could really see this thing having some glowing leds to really give it that sci fi feeling. It also kind of reminds me of the master chief's gun too. Anyway, I like it. I could easily see any SW trooper using this one.

I've seen video and "modded" nerf sniper rifles on ebay that "quote" shot 80 feet. The nerf mod community is as wild as the SW one here. They modify the barrels, the air chambers, the springs and the ammo to get the best range.
