HOMEWORLD:Ropagi II was a planet in Mieru'kar Sector, on the Enarc Run. It was an endpoint of the Kira Run. Its Great Library was built by the Ropagu 10,000 BBY. The Ropagu were constantly at war amongst themselves until these wars were stopped by the Kalduu in 3,996 BBY.
BIOLOGY AND APPEARANCE:The Kalduu were sapient telepathic jellyfish who hailed from the planet Ropagi II, they were translucent. They could form a group mind if two or more Kalduu were within 60 meters of one another. This could be extended to their hosts, which were most often Ropagu, whom they had a long standing friendship with. They would even bond with the minds of Ropagu leaders.
Kalduu ate airborne bacteria as well as germs and viruses from their hosts. They breathed carbon dioxide and exhaled oxygen. Kalduu reproduced by fission.
The Kalduu lacked any form of vocal chords so they communicated using the telepathy.
CULTURE AND HISTORY:The Kalduu relationship with the Ropagu extended back for many centuries, and helped end the Civil War between the Ropagu. Ever since they have been entwined as one.
